IVC started in the 1950's as a club for young professional people but now we’re rather older!

I met my wife here (two of my sisters met their husbands in IVC)

I have always been an active member:
holding various positions on the committee, including:
   membership secretary,
   farmhouse warden, (was on the Farmhouse committee for 20 years)
   rambles co-ordinator
I am now a Vice-President.
I organise garden croquet in the summer, the occasional ramble and other event
and go on several weekends away each year (sometimes organising one).
