As a volunteer Observer for The Institute of Advanced Motorists I have noticed the similarities between good driving and good dancing.

You should:
be in the correct position,
at the right time,
going in the correct direction,
going at the right speed,
avoid collisions,
be on the correct side,
facing correct way,
give and receive signals.
You need:
observation,
anticipation,
planning,
the correct sequence,
interaction with others,
to be in appropriate gear (clothes),
to make eye contact.
